GPS on the up

GPS is becoming more wide spread. The new Orbit from O2 was released last week and has built in GPS. A new add-on for the PSP is soon to hit shelves that will enable GPS features.

It won't be long before the cost and availablility of GPS enabled units is so low that it will be as common as having a mobile phone. Creative minds are already working on games that take advantage of this technology. Stores will pay through the nose for their shops to be highlighted on GPS maps etc. There is lots of potential here.
