Limitiations for Flash?

What about the limitations flash has with respect to a limited number of read/write cycles. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_memory That should be a concern to anyone thinking about purchasing this technology for a replacement to a standard HDD.
I hope they can solve this because the idea of a solid state memory with attendant benefits is certainly appealing.
