Story: Apple patches QuickTime security flaw

Maybe but...

Let me think - how many hours of computing time were lost to this security flaw? Er, that would be none. So although Apple may not be the fastest at responding the truth is they did not NEED to respond any faster.

The reason why people would be jumping up and down if Microsoft were in this position (what am I saying Microsoft ARE in this position) it is because many businesses would lose many, many man hours when things go horribly wrong.
