Story: A farewell to floppies
Floppies are NOT dead
In my opinion, floppies are certainly not dead. One of the biggest advantages of them are they are cheap, being only around -,30 £ each compared to around 10,- £ for the cheapest USB stick, and flexible, meaning no formatting. If you are a small company or charity, who still need to transport a small amount of data around the office without a LAN avaible, they are handy.
