YOU ARE SO RIGHT

I installed Windows 2003 Server R2 onto a machine with SATA drives. I was installing off a USB based CD rom as it was a slim line server. I had the drivers on a CD ROM, but i could NOT load them because windows in its infinite stupidness decided it needed a floppy disk to copy them from.

WHAT THE FUCK FOR?!?!!?

I wanted to slap bill gates that day, what an utter total moronic way to build an OS.

I have not used a floppy disk for 7 years. i sure as hell was not going be forced by bills army to use one!

I integrated the drive with the OS and wrote another CD. It installed and everything worked fine. Microsoft need to get into the real world ASAP with regards to this!
