Business plan

As a Linux user I do not mind helping if I feel I am able with development or testing. If something is GPL I will use it. If the person or company providing the software also seems genuine in their pursuit towards making things better rather than releasing new version with new patches I will feel it is worth trying to help. With this perspective in mind I feel the GPL is only part the other is knowing that there will be no U turn against that which I use. GPL in its self helps provide for this by being a no turn back point. I do not know much about GPL3.
