Too good to be true

I knew the 90 day free trial was too good to be true.
I dumped Norton in favour of OneCare as it had some issues with Vista. This is not the first scandal to have been reported with OneCare and I'm wondering if it's worth sticking with.

It is a low priority for me as my hardware firewall deals with external attacks and I am not foolish to be caught out by Phishing attacks and I don't visit sites or open emails that are suspicious. My email is infact scanned by my webhost before I even view them so I'm only using the OneCare suite as a paranoid precaution. However, if I'm at risk of it doing more damage than a virus maybe I'm better off without any or go back to the resource hog that is Norton.
