Story: EC: Tech industry must recruit more women
NO!!!
I work in IT myself, this is wrong.
The only reason that there are less women in IT is because they are not as technical.
However, women are getting jobs because they are women, not because they are any good at their jobs.
I went to university and i am a technical person, but i have seen a woman hired here and she has no technical knowledge at all.
It is sexist. plain and simple.
