MS abuse

Not only in the server market. I recently bought an Intel MOBO and wanted to put win 98 and xp-sp1 on it but, neither would install. All I got was BSOD. Nothing on the box, or instruction sheet listed requirements. I put the setup disk in another computer and on there I found that you could only install xp-sp2 and vista. The board is going back today. No one has the right to tell me what OS I can put on a board when it's my money I'm spending.

In association with Intel
When all is said, if Microsoft produce the best product people will buy it and thats a good thing. If people have to buy their product because no one else can produce an alternative, only because interoperability protocols are kept secret, then thats a bad thing.
