Spell checking - take care

Spell checkers cannot determine whether it is correct to use 'two', 'too' or 'to'. Similarly, they cannot determine the correct usage of 'from' or 'form', 'whether' or weather'.

Learning correct spelling and grammar is vital, but realise there are distinct differences in spelling and usage between UK English and US English.

Is it 'spellchecker' or 'spell checker'? Does one ensure spells are cast correctly and the other ensure correct alphabetical construction?
