This could help the BBC

Ironically, this could actually help the BBC, who have been heavily critisized for funding a system out of the TV license that will be available only to a subset of license fee payers.

In principle, this crack makes it possible for iPlayer content to be made available for all computing platforms. If realised, this would provide a satisfactory answer to this critisism.

Now is the time to start taking this danger VERY seriously. This is big and very nasty business in action. The objective seems absolutely clear. Destroy GPL and 'steal' all the technology. An activity with plenty of precedence.
