Story: Microsoft cuts Vista price in China
Counterfeit?
Sounds like a lame excuse to me. I thought Vista went to great lengths to make counterfeiting virtually impossible? Particularly suspect is the inevitable reference to 60 million copies of Vista sold since January routine. The details of what constitute this figure are notoriously sketchy.
A more likely reason for this massive price cut is the popularity of Linux distributions like Red Flag in China.
