Is this the best Orange can do?

You can almost imagine how the meeting (well presuming they had one but maybe that is bestowing more forethought on this than it deserves) went for this decision at Orange.

Amid some furious brainstorming, someone pulled the term Open Office out of their subconscious without realising that the popularity of the open source office platform is probably what planted it there in the first place. But under some pressure to come up with a title, they probably thought – what the heck – we're only going to confuse some open source bods – who cares!

Confusing terminology and jargon is a big enough problem in the IT industry as it is - without companies naming new products when existing brands are already out there. Orange is always banging on about how bright the future is but this move seems particularly dull to me.
