Story: BT sees low demand for video among SMEs
BT sees low videoconferencing demand
I don't agree at all to Chris Lindsay's statement. There is growing interest in video services offered over the internet, particularly within the SMB market as companies grow more and more global, competition increases and overheads continue to be tightened. The SaaS solution model offered by VidSoft provides small and medium sized businesses an affordable videoconferencing and collaboration platform when justification to purchase a system is simply not an option.
VidSoft gives SMBs the flexibility to utilise video collaboration with minimal capital outlay and drain on IT staff. The implementation process is simple and monthly "pay-as-you-go" costs are predictable and affordable for most organisations. It doesn’t require a lot of upfront planning and can be rolled out to a small group or the entire company with ease. Further to this, customers aren’t locked in by contracts or costly hardware or software purchases.
On demand collaboration with Suppliers, Partners, Customers, Subsidiaries in China, India or Eastern Europe is booming permanently. Seeing the counterpart once in person is OK, but after then, online face-to-face meetings via video are doing the job. And people don't like to fly anymore to those most difficult to reach far away locations.
