Birmingham City Council correction

"However, Birmingham City Council axed its Linux rollout last year, because it found that its Microsoft-based platform was cheaper."

This statement requires a correction. BCC were too incompetent to manage a deploy Open Source software such as Linux. Incumbent suppliers also made it "worth their while" to stick with the existing technology mix.

It's worth referring to previous ZDNet articles for a better understanding of the actual events - see http://news.zdnet.co.uk/software/0,1000000121,39284758,00.htm
