Gartner is Right- Larry Ellison is Wrong!

Larry Ellison just said couple of days ago that no one has figured a way to make money in SaaS for SMBs!

I love larry, but he is so wrong!

Many SaaS startups such as Salesforce.com, Netsuite, Salesboom.com, Rightnow, and others are making a ton of money in the software-as-a-service marketplace, and the market has been growing by over 100% year over year since 2003!

The internet is going to have do a lot of maturing before it is ready for this kind of traffic. Security is always going to be a problem, connectivity is poor, and most business's are unwilling for their employees to have open access.
