Something is wrongg with SAP

I was very surprised when I read that the big guy ate SAP thinks announcing software-as-a-service is the best announcement in his life. He also says he first thought of it 5 years ago! Just about the same time other unknown smaller startups such as Salesforce, Netsuite and Salesboom.com had a fully functional product for 10% of SAP's cost of traditional on-premise CRM and ERP!!!

I believe someone has not been thinking right at SAP for all these years. Or maybe the little guys who started software-as-a-service are geniuses!

In order for the big players such as SAP, Oracle and Microsoft to gain traction in this market they must consolidate these rivals even hostile style.
