Brilliant article and sooooo true.
Another tip which works for us is we just tell the sales rep that IT purchasing is dealt with by our office down south, then our office down south tell them it's dealt with by the office up north and so on.
If they really persist we point them at some not existant office we have just acquired in the far east and tell them purchasing is now done on a global level.
They soon get the idea.
Works every time, whats more, they don' ring back.
