Maybe now the Government will rethink I.D. cards

6 out of 10 is not such a suprise considering that the survey came so soon after the HMRC incident. but maybe the government should listen and suspend their I.D. scheme and any other sensitive data schemes in the pipeline. For now, they should forcus all their efforts on better I.T. infrustructure and policies that would ensure public data is secure.
