Credit crunch not that effective on I.T.

while this sub-prime credit crisis might force some businesses to cut back on their I.T. budgets, it won't have a big effect on the tech industry because I.T. systems have become critical to the way people work, i can't envision businesses sudenly dropping Lotus Notes or Oracle.
Also corporations nolonger have big I.T. departments, most of the work is outsourced, there really isn't much room for cutbacks!
