Yahoo, stand firm!

I believe these comments are just intended to dampen the spirits of the Yahoo board, I don’t think Microsoft would walk away so easily.

Mr Gates makes some interesting statements:
“Google is the only company with critical mass”. Sure Google commands 55% of US search, but that 45% is still up for grab. Else where; in china for example, Google are not even the number one search engine (baidu is).

I’d say Microsoft Office on the desktop and in the workplace is more of a ‘critical mass’

I wonder, who needs .asia domain? I cannot imagine, what would be useful for Microsoft.asia? Toyota.asia? Then let's register .europe (if .eu is too short). Or perhaps Microsoft.southamerica, Dell.australiaandnewzealand, Coca-Cola.africa... Sound funny? Then why not just use the global and country domains? Or perhaps it is time to drop the domains at all?
