MS Office 2007 DOES write OOXML as its default format
Office 2007 can read OOXML (so it is said), but certainly can't write it. Nor
Are you even remotly serious ?
What kind of ridiculous reason could you have for stating this.

Of course MS Office 2007 default format is OOXML.
It writes its default files in the officecial Ecma 376 Office Open XML format to be found here:
http://www.ecma-international.org/publications/standards/Ecma-376.htm
It has XML schema which allow XML dation so you can actually verify that MS Office does support OOXML very well.
