Wouldn't trust Microsofts Motives....

Sounds as if Microsoft is playing a game of 'you do the work, we file the patents'. I wouldn't go anywhere near this for doing research work, Microsoft just can't be trusted. In all they do one has to wonder what the real motives are, after all Microsoft never give anything away so there will be a catch somewhere down the line.
