Story: MoD admits loss of over 11,000 ID cards

Why not use these as the ID card testbed?

The government maltreats our armed forces enough anyway. As they all have ID cards and most need replacing it would make sense that these are used as a testbed for the all emcompassing ID card system.
I was shocked to find that we still had over 11000 people left in the armed forces.
