Story: Gates: Windows 7 to come 'in the next year or so'

A change of direction yet again Mr Gates ?

So , for the people who have set up a Media Centre in there living room, with a wide screen TV, wireless keyboard and mouse, on thier big comfy sofas, a new OS that you have to get up and touch the screen to control. Nice deviation from the way things were going. Or will this be an alternative OS, and one that actually works with all the other software on the planet.
