Story: IPS wants service pilots for ID cards

Not in my back yard - No Really

So now the Home Office and the IPS want to involve the councils in their dastardly scheming. Thankfully no2id saw this one coming and persuaded our council to approve a motion that prevents them from being involved in anything NIRish unless specifically mandated so to do by primary legislation; and as there is no such legislation currently, I think we dodged that particular bullet for a while. Phew!
