Alarm Bells Again?
Is it just me or do the carriers ring this alarm bell every 18 months? It's not clear to me what they're looking for. In this case one might argue that this is a prelude to a discussion on how Net Neutrality is bad or perhaps the carriers are looking for government subsidies to upgrade their backbones? In the past technology has come to the rescue allowing carrier to push more data through the same pipes they already have. I have little doubt that will happen again.
