Story: Facebook admits to increased attacks by spammers
Had to happen
This had to happen and it comes in a week when it has been reported that LinkedIn has Nigerian 419 scammers using its site.
That said, it's probably easier for social networking vendors to catch and disable such threats before they reach the user, unlike e-mails where there is no central service provider as such.
