Rugged or Heavy Duty?

There are a number of handsets that claim to meet 'ruggedness' standards but which in fact are really only heavy duty phones - It seems the Sonim handset fits into this category - it is still a great handset for the target audience they have in mind

Why don't you try the same destructability test on some of the other rugged handsets such as the Motorola i580 or if you really want to go to town do a comparison with the really rugged Intermec CN3 and the Motorola industrial series? (They have an interesting claim about using an anglegrinder on the keypad.....)
