I am already annoyed enough by the totally disingenuous adverts on TV for the IT training companies that promise cars, girls and general riches when you (inevitably) get a highly paid IT job once having completed their short course in IT. I know heaps of former IT sector people who have just bowed their heads in despair and walked away from the sector because despite this bogus skills shortage, there is no way of connecting to employers now totally insulated from potential employees by a predatory, disinterested and largely now automated IT recruitment industry. So these cons will beaver away on these courses and then get dumped out into a market that isn't even that interested in formally trained, highly experienced Engineers, let alone someone who, prior to a stay at the Queens Hotel was a highly experienced, formally trained bank robber.
