Nasa hacker to fight US extradition on Monday

Rupert Goodwins was only recently writing about a similar issue in his Blog entitled "UK P2P user? Hope you like US prison food".

This non reciprocal arrangement with the US is an obscenity which I think few British people can understand. American's have their constitutional rights and therefore cannot be extradited here on a whim, as our citizens can be extradited to the US without even any evidence being presented.

Of course this was meant to be a 'terror' measure but like other 'terror' measures, it's put to other uses.

Let us hopet hat Gary McKinnon can get get out of this extradition on technical grounds as that is is his only hope, and let's also hope that Clare Montgomery fluffs it or isn't too diligent. The idea of a British QC fighting for the US interests in this case is rather repulsive.

This quite ourageous arrangement, enabled in The Extradition Act 2003, is another abuse of our freedoms and rights as British citizens which requires to be added to the list already mentioned by David Davis in his resignation speech for his by election campaign.
