All part of the master plan!

"The search company said that, at a meeting on 8 June, Microsoft indicated that it is no longer interested in Yahoo even at the $33 a share it had previously said it was willing to pay."

Why did Microsoft sudenly loose interest, did they discover something they're not telling us? I wonder whether this wasn't part of the plan from the get go; 'cause some chaos and just when they're running out of options, pull out, leaving them weak'. I doubt the deal with google will be enough to steady the ship, they'll sure have a lot of disaffected shareholders to assuage!

I wonder what Carl Icann's strategy will be now; after the public threats to oust the Yahoo board and now an indifferent buyer, he looks like a fool, not to mention being the biggest loser from the share drop!
