Story: Applicant numbers for IT teacher training still falling
How odd
Can you point the where in the world teachers are highly paid (as in the money will follow)?
That being said, people just don't value education any more (particularly before university level). Pink Floyd's "Just another brick in the wall" pretty much says it all for how people view education in the UK, and in the US it's even worse.
