fibre!

hi,

So much is placed on Fibre, I cannot see BT laying miles of the stuff around rural areas or remote/small towns in a hurry.. its ok to say "50mbps from green cabinet" as per the other story but do they really think BT will place a green cabinet every 600 meters so no copper pair drops below said 50 Mbps... yeeeno ...

Fixed wireless is already providing ADSL beating performance and is far cheaper and enviromentally sound to implement.
