Unless they have rebuilt the browser, from the ground up, it will still carry the same vulnerabilities as before. IE7 was built using the IE6 engine so very little improvement there, and I expect IE8 to carry on the tradition. A friend told me the best way to feel secure about IE is to not use it, go with one of the other browsers.
