Story: OOXML verdict sparks dissent among ISO members

Microsoft Kill 2 birds with one stone then.

MS were getting excluded from bids as they were not standards compliant.

With this amazing move they can now claim to be standards compliant even if it is in the next release, and bid on those deals, but those companies/governments who now recognise the taint in ISO can no longer simply demand that products be ISO compliant and MS come in bidding with the proprietary again!

What is needed is an independent board to review and maintain non patentable standards for all interactions!
