Bed Fellows

I attended the Phorm presentation earlier this year at the University College London and one thing that surprised me then was the very easy, relaxed and confident attitude of Kent Ertegrul. Nothing fazed his bonhomme.

I wondered about this at the time, and still wonder now. Was his relaxed response in the meeting because he already knew he had the support and encouragement of the government and knew that whatever objections and comments we made were of no account and not to be taken seriously.

The latest published comments from the government seem to confirm that Phorm, BT and the UK government are in bed together in furtherance the the government's agenda for total surveillance and totalitarian control. Micro management if you like.

Certainly, again, they haven't listened to us, and indeed all the serious issues raised as Petitions to the Prime Minister are all dismissed without even the courtesy of an informed response. This is insulting!
