Story: EU earmarks €55m to tackle illegal web content
EU: master of wasting money
That's another way of waste our money by EU. 55m Euros? Much, but not, if you consider dividing it to 27 countries. Let's take 2 milion Euros per country. For that money, each country has to:
- form a commission and hire consultants
- prepare a plan for "safe" internet
- prepare a marketing/advertising strategy to educate the society
- prepare to change the local law (if applied, that will cost time and money, too)
- take several spectacular actions against 'dangerous' teenagers sharing games by P2P or sending spam (mostly unaware).
By the end of the year EU will report the campaign was a great success.
