Think title is wrong.

What they meant was:

PLEASE build apps for platforms other than the iPhone.

Because the devs I know that are developing for the iPhone are sticking with it. The return on investment has far outshone the initial outlay and with the stuff coming in 3.0 it makes it very easy to develop apps with additional income streams.

The question you should ask yourselves is WHO asked Forrester Research to carry out this research?
