Late comment from Pirate party

The Pirate Party did finally send me some comment on this story - but only after it had gone up on the site:

"We think software patents are rarely economically justified and more
usually harm the economy. Software patents should either be abolished
altogether or greatly restricted, and in any case open source software
should be exempt from being sued for infringement of software patents.
