Blog Comment For basic stuff you can just use a live Linux distro and online storage on any computer in no time att all. Is there a simple application that I can use to convert .iso files into .img files so that I can mount them onto a flash drive?

Clonezilla, here to stay, not fade away!*

Blog Debbietoo served as the server/target of the Clonezilla distro (http://www.clonezilla.org/) booted up on both paqman (old P3 Compaq Enpro with Ubuntu 9.04) and the Windows XP Pro box (P4) and got viable clones out of both of them.

Whats beyond your Windows?

Blog Comment Its not required now with modern linux distro's. Hardest part is figuring out how to burn the .iso image and yes you might have to read a bit to find out how. I made the switch about ten years ago, then installing linux was a much more daunting task.

Blog Comment Congratulations on getting a distro running smoothly on the HP2133! Will you be making your own .iso public? Hello Jamie! As a fellow owner I'm more than familiar with all the driver problems etc. I'd love to give it a go on my own notebook.
