Aspire 1

Talkback Acer Aspire 5315-2153, $348 Walmart Special,Mandriva Linux 2008.1 Spring Edition. I think the price is too high. If people wait six months, the market will be flooded with these small computers and the price will drop a lot.

Acer Aspire One D150 review

Acer Aspire 1714SMi review

Reviews At a whopping 7.1kg, the Aspire 1714SMi is a behemoth even for a desktop replacement, and the power brick that comes with the unit increases its total travel weight still further. The full-size keyboard with separate number pad and the ample real...

Hands-on with the Acer Aspire One 751 netbook

Blog Acer very kindly sent me their Aspire One 751 netbook so I could have a hands-on try. Here are my thoughts. The 751 has a bright 11.6-inch screen, which is on the large side for a netbook. This does, however, give a resolution of 1,366x768 pixels.

Acer Aspire One price drops

Blog Of the currently available netbooks (although more are on their way soon), the Acer Aspire One is, IMHO, the coolest - it looks more idiosyncratic than its rather more mini-me brethren, plus it has that clever dual-SD-card thing going on.

Ubuntu on the Acer Aspire One - provisos

Acer Aspire 1500: a first look

Talkback I bought my 1501LMi in February, and it works well. Startup times in the blink of an eye, and the SXGA screen is well worth the bit extra. My only (minor) bugbear is the fact that the "Home" and "End" keys are only accessible as second level...

Acer Aspire One review

Reviews The Aspire One's 24.9cm by 2.9cm by 17cm chassis makes it approximately 25mm wider than an Eee PC 901, but it's also marginally thinner. By making the Aspire One's chassis wider than most netbooks, Acer has been able to incorporate a keyboard that...
