ICANN Drops Plan To Approve .XXX
Talkback Pornography exists in the internet - there is no way to deny it. So we might as well have a clear indication where it is to protect our children from it, and not being afraid of them going where they shouldn't go, by mistake.

Microsoft Drops Mac Internet Explorer
Talkback Not like MS has updated IE for OS X since, what, 2003? So how are we affected by them "not longer supporting" it? What's next, they drop support for WMP for OS X, which hasn't been updated in just as long?

ICANN Drops Plan To Approve .XXX
Talkback I think it's silly. How much easier would it be for companies to offer filtering services if the majority of sites used .XXX domain suffix. I feel the introduction of a root level domain suffix like this would so give more room of the internet for...

IBM Drops Claims To Speed Case Against SCO
Talkback Glad you made the headline change. I nearly left a negative comment about it early this morning, but I'm pleased to have left it to someone else.

Talkback I wonder if they will spend as much re branding as BT did?

Microsoft Drops Windows Cluster Bomb
Talkback How do you think MS got to the top in the first place? Oh right, I suppose they started there. And the origin of life is explained by creationism. Right.

ICANN Drops Plan To Approve .XXX
Talkback So what kind of start-up business type QVC kitchen product would require the currently occupied www.bumhole.com domain prey tell? Horses for courses. And I bet you check.

Microsoft Drops Mac Internet Explorer
Talkback This is part of the opening salvo of M$ vs. Apple. Mark my words -- the war is going from cold into hot.

Microsoft Drops Mac Internet Explorer
Talkback It's not like IE is all of sudden going to stop working, MS just won't provide support for it any longer. And since they stopped development in 2003 I fail to see what is going to change for those Mac owners who insist on still using IE.

ICANN Drops Plan To Approve .XXX
Talkback Not only should the .xxx domain space be approved, but it should be REQUIRED for any form of pornography, with violaters being prosecuted worldwide. This would provide a possible way to avoid pornography if we so desire.

Bush Drops In On Salesforce.com Conference
Talkback I think this was very distasteful.don't mix politics and business. I would second guess any decision going with SF.com because of this stunt

ICANN Drops Plan To Approve .XXX
Talkback The denial of the creation of a .xxx TLD is a severe blow to the one policy that would get this problem somewhat under control; It would force others into compliance of a .xxx TLD regardless if they wanted it or not.

Ofcom Drops Bulldog Probe - For Now
Talkback What a shame the investigation has been dropped. I have spent over 10 hours this week trying to get them to meet the obligations they committed to through "say anything" sales tactics. In fact, I am 3 hours into my current attempt today.

IBM Drops Claims To Speed Case Against SCO
Talkback The article itself was in fact correct, but you are right in pointing out the shortfallings with the headline. We've since modified it to reflect more accurately the contents of the story.

ICANN Drops Plan To Approve .XXX
Talkback Your article seems to be written in a way that favors the creation of an .xxx TLD, without ever discussing the opposing opinion. Your opponents have very good arguments and you can't ignore them. What good would an .xxx TLD do?

Microsoft Drops Mac Internet Explorer
Talkback OK, so they stopped upgrading years ago and compatibilty even w/ the current IE is weak at best. This announcement is insignificant unless it forecasts some yet unknown change. It does not surprise me that they would drop the hammer on IE this month.

Microsoft Drops Windows Cluster Bomb
Talkback The way I see it this shows why software patenting should never be allowed. The initial version is designed to replicate many of the features that would be offered if someone were clustering machines using Linux.
