Extensions to ODF realistic ?
Talkback If OOo needs 150 propriety extensions to use a format that is actualy based on it's own format. That way we have a documented format in stead of tons of undocument propriety extensions. How much would MS Office need ?

Extensions are bugs, not features
Talkback A standard that allows vendor-specific extensions to be conformant is a standard in name only. Extensions fall outside the definition of a standard. Extensions make software goods non-substitutable and create interop nightmares.
