Blog Comment Everything I wanted to put on the Linux Home Server was already available in the Debian 4.0 distro. Now comes my BIG disappointment with Linux, MySql. The one piece of software I know and love completely in the Linux repretory is Samba.

Average home user installing drivers in Linux, pffft!

Talkback Pretty obvious you haven't used Linux recently. The only driver I have had to install, in the last 3 years, has been video drivers, and my distro tells me there is a proprietary driver available and would I like to use it.
