Talkback I accessed my hotmail inbox yesterday to discover that literally 100s of emails have been wiped off the system. From last week to this weekend, 3 year's worth of emails (close to 1000) have simply vanished from my inbox.

Talkback Won't the tracking get a hit immediately if the recipient has autopreview on? Therefore, the data collected will be meaningless - to avoid the social glitch, simply say, "Oh I wasn't at my computer today, it will have been autoprevied though.

Talkback John has a good point, my IM is left logged in all the time, and even when the screen saver comes on, it doesn't always set my status to away. I use mail programs which don't use HTML for the most part.

Talkback Easy come.easy go! We are afterall relying on an external supplier to store and securitize OUR information. Practically every email model fails to provide a Select All - Send All capability. Put simply, you can't have your cake and eat it too!
