Veritas Buys UK Firm
News Veritas Software announced on Tuesday that it plans to acquire KVault Software, in a move designed to expand its email storage and archiving offerings. Under the deal, Veritas will pay $225m (£125m) in cash for privately held KVault, or KVS.

Symantec Admits To Customer Support Woes
News Before it was bought by Symantec, Veritas acquired the Enterprise Vault technology through its September 2004 purchase of KVault Software. Symantec has admitted it's falling down on customer support for its email archiving product.
