Software Giant Threatens Mikerowesoft

Talkback Well, Mike-Rowe-Soft sounds a heck of a lot like Mic-Ro-Soft. However, Mike Rowe is a kid with limited resources. But if my name was Mike Rowe, I would have done the exact same thing. It's a hard lesson for Mike, a lot of free publicity for Mike...

MikeRoweSoft Garners Funds To Fight Back

Talkback Mike Rowe has a far GREATER right to use the term MikeRoweSoft that Bill Gates has to use Microsoft, with the exception of course being that Microsoft is already trademarked. Mike Rowe has a right to name a business after his own name if no other...

MikeRoweSoft Garners Funds To Fight Back

Talkback Think of the legal fees racked up by Microsoft's attorneys.Best guess, $1,000 per page of their brief. No doubt, it is the attorney who intend to take the giant to the cleaners, not Mike Rowe. Micro's Soft Thinking!

Talkback Prosecutor: Is your name Mike Rowe? Judge: Mike Rowe, I sentence you to a lifetime of fixing MS software bugs and also fine you $12,000 for wasting court time. Mike: None, really, its my name and the "soft" bit at the end takes the mickey out of MS

Mikerosoft.ca Magnifies Microsoft's PR Nightmare

Talkback Mike Rowe is nothing but an internet squatter. He (being in the IT field) knew full well, why and what he was doing by putting soft in his domain name. He would never able to validate his use of "soft" in his domain name as he is not producing any...

Mikerosoft.ca Magnifies Microsoft's PR Nightmare

Talkback Mike Rowe does. If Microsoft can get away with bullying someone with their website, than I will stop using the internet.microsoft.com and mikerowe.soft.com are two different domain names DUH! Microsoft does not have the domain name.

Microsoft: We Took MikeRoweSoft Too Seriously

Talkback Mike Rowe should be Sued. It was deliberate because he added the 'soft'. The adding of the 'soft' proves his guilt. He blatantly tried to attract attention to his site by aligning it with Microsoft's name.

Microsoft: We Took MikeRoweSoft Too Seriously

Talkback How about if Mike Rowe changes his domain name to MikeRoweSoftAreABunchofF**kingCriminals.com? And even though you capitalized the word PERIOD that still doesnt make using the word soft combined with his own name a trademark violation.

Software Giant Threatens Mikerowesoft

Talkback MI-cro-soft and Mike-ROWE-soft. How ludicrous! So now Little Billy G figures he has the monopoly on even names that have a phonetic sound similar to his baby. Problem is, the suits at MS don't seem to understand the English language very well.

MikeRoweSoft Garners Funds To Fight Back

Talkback Mike Rowe must have known full well he was likely to come up in the MS radar when he registered the domain and sure enough I see the anti-MS gang have all blindly jumped on board as usual. This comes down to what you deem as acceptible content - if...
