Norton AntiVirus: The Readers Strike Back

Talkback I was a happy user of Norton Internet Security 2001. Symantec ruined a good product here. It was a great product but they dropped support. I tried to install 2004, and it was one nightmare after another.

Norton AntiVirus: The Readers Strike Back

Talkback I just renewed my subscription to Norton Internet Security 2002, and ever since then my Internet Explorer (cable modem) has been working at a snail's pace. And when I try to contact Symantec for help, all they can say is that NIS2002 is no longer...

Norton AntiVirus: The Readers Strike Back

Talkback Symantec Limited Are Symantec quoted on any Tech stock markets - perhaps their shareholders would like to know how their customers feel? For interest here's the address given on my renewal order confirmation.

Norton AntiVirus: The Readers Strike Back

Talkback Go ahead and call Symantec and talk to a technical support representative and see if they can resolve your issue. They may not charge you.

Norton AntiVirus: The Readers Strike Back

Talkback Symantec get my vote for the worst "Customer Service" on this planet. The Tech Helpdesk are NO help they simply refer you to other Symantec websites. I am so frustrated with Symantec it hurts - the temptation to fly to Ireland to vent that...

Norton AntiVirus: The Readers Strike Back

Why You Should Ditch Norton AntiVirus

Does Anybody Like Norton AntiVirus?

Talkback I use norton systemworks 2003 for a year. Norton 2004 DOES have a problem. Symantec knows about it but they have done nothing to correct this fault. Most of viruses are stopped by my ISP, supanames. Others do get stopped by NAV.

Why You Should Ditch Norton AntiVirus

Talkback As someone who actually looks into anti virus software as a researcher i can safely say both mcafee and symantec rest on their laurels. The best antivirus software out there right now is nod32.www.nod32uk.com

Why You Should Ditch Norton AntiVirus

Talkback I think Symantec has everyone beat on the definition files, but the software is slow and a process hog. I'd have to agree with a number of posts about AVG as the ultimate solution. Although I do have concerns for the virus definitions and how up to...
