ODF is the international ISO standard

Talkback The ODF format can, and will, open old documents so it only makes sense to use what works. Try using XP to open a .doc made with win98. It says it can't open the file and offers to check the web to find a progran that will.

Talkback Do you often receive ODF documents at work? A 'standard' is something that is common and that (almost) everyone uses. Honestly, I have never, ever got a document in this format (althought I am able to read it on my PC).
